Shannon Balon-Gamble, RP (Qualifying)
Shannon is a compassionate psychotherapist with a master’s in counselling psychology. Specializing in generational trauma, she understands the unique challenges faced by adult children of immigrant parents. She is experienced in supporting clients with ADHD, CPTSD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and bipolar disorder.
Shannon’s warm approach blends Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and relational psychotherapy to help clients heal their core beliefs and trauma-driven behaviours. She is especially skilled in working with those who identify as black sheep, scapegoats, or cycle breakers in their families.
As a proud LGBTQ+ community member and child of an immigrant parent, Shannon brings her own lived experience with mental health challenges to her practice. She offers a supportive space where clients feel truly understood and is dedicated to guiding them on their healing journey with empathy, expertise, and genuine care.
